Built for golfers who want more than a tee time.
The Swing Refinery was created from a lifelong connection to the game — and a belief that golf should be accessible, meaningful, and played on your terms

OUR FOUNDER
A lifelong relationship with the game.
Austin’s story with golf began early — at just five years old — learning the game from his grandfather, with his mom encouraging every swing along the way. What started as time spent together quickly became something deeper: a foundation built on tradition, patience, and love for the game.

An early knee injury changed the course of his athletic path. After multiple surgeries, high-impact sports were no longer an option. What remained was golf — steady, challenging, and endlessly rewarding. It wasn’t just something Austin played. It was where he felt most at home.

Golf offered connection — to family, to legacy, and to the people who shaped him. It also offered belonging: the ability to be part of a team while still carving out quiet, focused moments alone. And above all, it offered challenge — not just against others, but against himself.
Why The Swing Refinery Exists
Golf is a lifelong game — but access to it isn’t always simple.

In much of the Midwest, the season is short and the weather unpredictable. Consistent practice can be difficult, even for golfers who are deeply committed to improving. The Swing Refinery was created to remove that barrier — offering a place to play, practice, and refine your game year-round, regardless of conditions outside.

But access is about more than climate. Golf has become increasingly expensive, especially for players who want to practice often and improve meaningfully. Many simulator venues are built around entertainment first, with premium pricing, bar-centric environments, and limited availability for focused practice.

The Swing Refinery was designed differently.

This is a space built for the serious amateur golfer — for players who care about progress, consistency, and putting in the work. A place where practice is accessible, focused, and priced to support regular use, not occasional splurges. Where younger players are welcome, distractions are minimal, and the game itself remains the priority.

Here, golf is treated as a craft worth investing in — not an indulgence reserved for special occasions.
Golf is personal. The experience around it should be too.
And just as importantly, it's about the people.
COMMUNITY & CULTURE
More than a place to play.
While The Swing Refinery is designed for focused, independent practice, it’s also built around a shared love of the game. This is a space where golfers cross paths regularly, recognize familiar faces, and grow alongside one another — naturally, without pressure.

Leagues, tournaments, and events offer opportunities to compete, connect, and stay engaged, whether you’re looking for friendly rivalry or simply a reason to show up consistently. Participation is always optional, but community is always present.

What brings people together here isn’t noise or spectacle — it’s respect for the craft, a commitment to improvement, and a genuine enjoyment of the game. No egos. No distractions. Just golfers who care about getting better and supporting one another along the way.
Here, golf is treated as a craft worth investing in — not an indulgence reserved for special occasions.
